The calendar serves as a community resource for residents, visitors, local organizations, businesses, and community groups seeking information on upcoming events and activities in Neligh.
What Is Included
The Community Calendar may include:
- Community events
- Non-profit activities and fundraisers
- Church and civic events
- Business promotions and public events
- Tourism and recreation activities
- Public meetings and community programs
What Is Not Included
To help keep the calendar a manageable and community-focused resource, the following are generally not included:
- Individual garage sales
- Private events
- School events, as the school maintains its own calendar system
- Events submitted through social media messages or comments
How to Submit an Event
Community organizations, businesses, churches, clubs, and event organizers are encouraged to submit upcoming events to the Neligh Economic Development Office.
Events may be submitted by:
- Phone call
- Stopping by the office
- Bringing in or sending a flyer or poster
To help ensure event information is not missed, social media messages and comments are not monitored for calendar submissions.
Please include:
- Event name
- Date and time
- Location
- Brief description
- Contact information, if applicable
